Additionally, Chief Jordan is the Vice President of the Florida Gang Investigators Association. Chief Jordan has traveled throughout the United States and internationally teaching and lecturing on criminal street gangs. Chief Jordan has traveled to Israel to observe and be trained in counter-terrorism mitigation methods implemented by the nation of Israel and the Israeli Defense Forces. In 2008, Chief Jordan was assigned to the City of Tallahassee Mayor’s Gang Task Force and the State of Florida Attorney General’s Gang Control Strategy Workgroup, which developed the first-ever Gang Control Strategy for the State of Florida.
Chief Jordan is a member of Capital Tiger Bay Club, International Association of Chiefs of Police, 全国警长协会, 佛罗里达警长协会, 塔拉哈西28班的领导, 佛罗里达警长协会 Commanders Academy Class 8, and FDLE Florida Leadership Academy Class 12. Chief Jordan has been married for 22 years to his wife, 莫妮卡·乔丹，有一个女儿, 玛德琳·格蕾丝·乔丹, 17.
